Summer Camp 2024

Dear Parents,

I'm delighted to announce that we plan to run a Summer Camp in Gaelscoil Chnoc na Ré from Mon July 1st to 5th. I will be joined by a team of tutors for music, song & dance activities. There will be a special emphasis on the Irish language. The camp will run from 10am to 2:15pm daily & it's suitable for children aged 5 to 12, attending primary school.

This week, the camp is being made available to those attending Fred Finn classes & group practices, on a first come first serve basis. Places are limited. 

Daily Camp Activities include:

  • Use Irish in a Fun Setting

  • Try musical instruments

  • Learn new songs

  • Learn Ceili/group dances

  • Learn Sean nós dance

  • Learn to play a bodhrán

  • Daily tuition on Whistle

  • Enjoy interactive games

  • All participants receive a free tin-whistle
